Rob received his Ph.D. in geography in 2001 from the Department of Geography and Anthropology at Louisiana State University. His interests include the American South, the geography of the New Deal, historical geography, and ethnographic methods. Rob's recent work appears in Southeastern Geographer and Focus on Geography. He teaches courses in Graduate Research Methods, North Carolina, World Regional Geography, Qualitative Methods, and Human Geography.
