Research Interests
Trained in physical geography with a focus on fluvial geomorphology, but a penchant for human geography. My thesis work explores the geomorphic impacts of a dam removal on a local southern Appalachian river system. I am also developing an online application to map dam removals across North America with the intention of providing policymakers, stakeholders, and engineers relevant response trajectories to better plan for future removal projects.
