About Me
I am an Instructor and Graduate Faculty Affiliate in the Department of Geography and Planning, where I research and teach in areas related to climate. My work focuses on the interdisciplinary aspects of climate, particularly the application of methods and information for decision-making and communication. My research has largely been concerned with hydroclimatic change and variability internationally. Prior to my affiliation with Appalachian, I was a research scientist at Columbia University, where I also completed a Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Science (2014) and an M.A. in Climate and Society (2008). I received my undergraduate degree from Clemson University.
